CIRCA 1600 FLEMISH CARVING OF HUNTING SCENE
This delightful carving in oak shows a huntsman with his dogs standing with staff in wooded country outside a town, with buildings seen in the distance. A large bird is heading out of the image to the right. The trees are particularly well carved,as is the greyhound next to the huntsman. Probably once part of a frame or freize. One dog has a hind leg missing (old damage). Size approx 38 x 9 cm.

PAIR OF CARVINGS : MERMAIDS PLAYING SEASHELLS
A very attractive pair of carvings in oak, approx 41.5 cm tall by 10 cm at widest point. Date uncertain, but they look C18th to me and the wood has a good patina. The backs of the carvings show a threaded hole presumably for mounting, and reveal a closed crack to the top of one carving without loss.
