NEWS BOY
NEWS BOY STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE "DAILY NEWS". This
charming little figure , approx 34cm tall shows a
Daily News Newsboy. He has a bundle of papers tucked
under his left arm, his hand in his pocket. He holds
an open "Daily News" paper at waist level with the
same words in raised letters with the remains of
gilding. He wears a green cap on his head, black
shoes, and stands on a base which has 6.P.M. in
raised letters again with the traces of gilding.
There is no major damage. The tip of his nose lacks a
tiny piece of glazeand there is paint missing from
one toe cap. Some glaze cracking as usual. but no
chips or rerpairs that I can see. A must for the
newspaper collector!
