This entirely original issue of the paper is printed
on both sides of two pages. Each of the four pages
is printed in six columns, and the paper is in nice
condition without major flaws apart from weakness
with minor loss at the spine and stab holes from
disbinding. All of the tax stamp is showing on the
front page . Of special interest are the front page
advertisements which are very interesting and lend
the paper to framing for display. There are ads for
inclosures at FELTWELL and STOW BEDON and many
auctions .On the second page is a good advert for the
Norwich Grand Musical Festival- more than 12 column
inches with the performers listed as Madame
Catalani,Miss Stephens, Miss Booth,Mr Braham,Mr
Garbett,Mr Tinney and Mr Welsh . Page three has a
good article on the meeting of local Millers led by
MR WILKIN of COSSEY , with some lively events
including hanging in effigy and fire and faggot
burnings of the same. Simon Wilkin writes a long and
lively letter too . Some vulgar and mischievous hand
bills and songs are also reported .There are of some
areas of light toning but the paper is very readable
and packed with local and international interest .
