This printed Book of Hours leaf was produced in Paris
in about 1510 . It shows a full length figure of a
woman possibly Salome, holding a sword upon which is
impaled a man's head- perhaps John the Baptist. There
are other metal cut engravings in the borders, and
some hand illuminated small initials.
