small format newspaper is in Very Good
condition.There are some nicks on the spine from
disbinding, and stab holes to the gutter margins but
generally crisp and tidy, in readable and collectable
condition. The paper has been folded whilst in
circulation and there is some fading on the front
page.The whole of the front page has a "List of
valuable fruits"- a list of Pears "from the old
catalogue of Duhamel". The next two pages have a long
report of the Brighton Agricultural Reports,
including ploughing matches with two yoke of oxen,
awards for sheep and swine, cows,heifers and bull
calves, and another for bulls. Other reports are from
the Berkshire County Agricultural exhibition, the
Worcester cattle show, and the Fall River Cattle
Show. The back page has a nice piece on Tattooing in
New Zealand. An interesting Agricultural Gazette.
