Two vols; Vol 1(xvi)596 , Vol 2 (ii)619. Vol 1 with
portrait frontis of Thomas Fuller by Freeman. Bound
in diced calf, rebacked in recent times with
appropriate calf in six compartments,gilt, with title
and volume labels in red and green.
A previousowner has written a helpful brief life of
Fuller including Pepy's mention of Fuller's Worthies.
Offsetting from the portrait frontis, light toning
throughout and occasional foxing spots to both
volumes, but the boards firmly attached , original
endpapers retained. Boards and corners show wear, but
still a handsome set.
