Bound in a later grainy/pebbly brown leather in imitation panelled calf with all edges gilt. Spine in six compartments, blind tooled and ruled ,with gilt title letters. Turn ins gilt rolled. Hand sewn headbands.Endpapers are contemporary with later binding. Very Good antiquarian condition generally.Some gatherings wormed in each Tombe , title page to second Tombe stained and also first few pages , and last few index pages frayed at one corner.The First Tombe title page is also frayed on the fore edge, as are the next few pages, some corners repaired, and a contemporary pen scroll and 1737 inscription to the title. This is an uncommon work, rare in this condition.
