This great Bunter story Artwork is in two large
parts, each joined across the centre . The panels are
each approximately 39cm wide by 50cm long and are
completed in pen, with onlaid acetate shading and
with some whiteout (tippex like). The title is laid
on to the work, and so is the picture of Bunter
eating a sausage under the title.The 6d price (six
old pennies) suggests that the work predates decimal
currency in 1971.
This is a marvellous story- very typical Bunter, with
a Fairground 40 day fasting contest being changed to
a feasting contest to trick Bunter. Good knockabout
comedy fun.The artwork is generally clean and
bright,and shows the artist's technique clearly.
There are a few marks, and some bumps and creases on
the edges.
