JONES,George Henry

Account of the Murder of the Late Mr William Weare of Lyons Inn London

J.Nichols
1824
Pp 334 complete with six plates as called for, two folding. All edges untrimmed. The book is bound in paper covered boards, with a light brown spine and corners.Internally there is intermittent foxing and it is a little thumbed in places. The spine has a tidy brown leather title, gilt. This is supposedly a very rare book, with only one listed in public collections in the British Library. I know of at least four other copies in private collections or listed for sale, the two copies listed at present at around £300 for an ex-Library copy or more than £3000 for an very expensive copy.
