PRINTED for Henry Seile
Boscobel ,or the History of His Acred Majesties Most
Miraculous Preservation After The Battle of Worcester
Houlston and Son
1832
This is the 1832 reprint of Henry Seile's 1660
printing. The book is in Very Good condition, a well
struck copy, Pp 92 complete with folding plate
showing Boscobel house and grounds with the King
hiding up an oak tree. A 1660 then 1832 "Where's Wally
?" if you like. Another plate of coat of Arms of
Carlis. I like this book and have sold several copies
recently. This one is generally tidy, a little grubby
in places, with a contemporary -ish ownership
inscription.Thespine is starting internally, and the
boards are original publishers boards with a paper
label with typed title. Would benefit from a rebind.
