is in Very Good + condition. The Lemon yellow boards
just showing the lightest browning to the spine ends
and edges. No inscriptions internally. The wrapper is
not clipped and is in Very Good condition with some
chips and folds to the top edge with a closed tear and
chipping to the bottom of the spine and corners. A
pleasing copy overall. The story " describes the
conflicts between the lure of Western life and
oriental tradition " in the person of a young Moslem
youth in Tangier, a theme which runs through many of
Bowles stories and novels. Excellent.
