columns per page . Tax stamp on front page. Very Good
condition, some nicks to spine from disbinding
only.The paper has long coverage of Queen Caroline ,
with Parliamentary proceedings, Loyal addresses and
the offer of a portrait painting. The King meanwhile
is at Brighton on the Royal Yacht and there is a long
poem on page 5. The revolution in Portugal has long
coverage ,about 20 column inches. A duel is fought on
Ascot heath , and there is a curious case of a man,
blind in one eye watching an eclipse, whose sight is
restored instantaneously. The birth of a baby with two
heads is reported in Yorkshire, and there are a couple
of good forgery cases , and the passing of forged
notes. Another story concerns a woman described as a
religious maniac, who cuts her throat. A doctor is
called in time to save her life, but he faints with
the serrible sight before him, and the woman dies. A
complete and original newspaper with excellent content.
