Translated from the edition Published by The Author in MDCVII Enlarged by the Latest Discoveries .By Richard Gough F.A.& R.SS. in Three Volumes Illustrated with Maps, and other Copper Plates. Bound in beautiful full tree calf with gilt roll to edges and borders of boards, professionally rebacked to match, with gilt and blind stamped rolls and lines, and gilt decoration in two sections. Original green labels retained (chipped). Very handsome indeed, and internally very good. All plates and pages present, all maps present and in excellent condition, with some toning and offsetting as usual, and foxing in places (largely to text leaves, and mainly in vol 2) . A lovely set.
