in sepia pen line drawing inscribed "from Maeve and
Mervyn Christmas 1948", and showing a self-portrait
of Peake , with half smile and heavy lidded eyes,
wearing a dented top hat. Image size approx
170x105mm to edge of text. At present framed in
simple gold frame with sepia brown mount with added
gold line to mount. An excellent and affordable Peake
original, all the better for being a self portrait.
