The History of Kett's Rebellion in Norwich In the
Reign of Edward the Sixth; Began about the 20th of
June 1549 And Ended the Twenty-Seventh of August, on
which Day was killed upward of Three Thousand Five
Hundred of the Rebels. Taken from the best account
that was ever printed NORWICH Printed by Lane and
Walker, and sold by and for W. Chipperfield. Priced
is.6d Stitched, or in Boards 2s. No date (1814).
Pp76. Bound in modern quarter calf with marbled paper
boards,Pages waterstained on bottom corner, last few
pages with corners worn away and a little chipped.
You can still see the Great Oak which was the
original meeting place for the rebellion, alongside
the A11 at Wymondham. Now heavily propped and
encircled with railings but still there.
