A variant imprint , possibly the second printing of the work. Bound in recent quarter calf with marbled boards, new endpapers. Internally complete, and in Very Good plus condition, some intermittent foxing but nothing fatal; plates all present and in clean crisp condition, some light offsetting in places. A disturbing work in some ways, especially with the plate showing sword cuts to the face of the opponent.
