This classic English newspaper issue Numb.143 of The
Rehearsal is printed on both sides of a single leaf,
in two columns. The paper is in clean and tidy
condition with a minimum of foxing or toning. There
are stab holes to the gutter margin from binding. The
Reahearsal was edited by Charles Leslie, and takes
the form of a conversation between Rehearsal and
Country-man, and typically is critical of The
Observator newspaper, and often of Daniel DeFoe. In
this issue the headlines are listed under the
